There are many good reasons why having a bookstagram is a great idea, but that doesn't mean it can't be a bit challenging sometimes.
One of the first questions that come up when you start is how do I stay unique?... and the answer is much simpler than you imagine, staying unique is staying true to yourself, what you believe, what you want ... what you like.
Do not compare yourself or your content with other people because at the end your contribution may be a great importance in the community, or it may be the inspiration for someone else.
Do not be afraid to show the ideas you have, mix the colours you like, show the books (even if they are unconventional) that you read, take the photos you want, everything is valid. All your ideas are valid, just stay true to yourself.
Don't start creating content just because you saw the rest doing it, or start reading a book just because everyone is doing it.
Create content in which you believe, in which you express yourself in any way, read the books you want, the books that "call you" or make you feel something, because at the end the best photos and the best readings will always be based on the things you really believe in.
So, a unique account will not be the one that follows any trend in aesthetics or books, it will be the one that is made from the heart, the one that is created following instincts and love towards literature.
Do not be discouraged, if you think that your account is not "unique" like others, it is not like that, because if you do it by being faithful to what you are and what you want to show, there is no better way to be unique in this community than that. keep reading, keep creating and be happy.Â
